1. The Hat Book by Juliet Bawden.

For Real Size but very useful in the describing how and fabrics.. but no patterns to downsize.

2.Hats in Miniature by Lyn Waring
Pub: Sterling Poub.co.Ltd.
ISBN: 0-8069-4265-7

Half real size suitable for a large porcelain doll. Has patterns, instructions and gives fabric and trims ideas...can be scaled down.
